According to the report, NASA selected Relativity Space, the rocket company controlled by former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, to develop and launch the Aeolus Mars mission, which will monitor Mars’ atmosphere and weather conditions. The move puts Relativity Space in more direct competition with SpaceX in the race for future Mars-related missions.
